The Crane Estate Wedding: Sarah & Zack

Sarah & Zack’s Crane Estate wedding was nothing short of fabulous, in the best Great Gatsy way. We adored working with Darling Creative Company, who designed this wedding and called upon us for floral design. Oh and we got to hang with DCC and the couple for dinner and drinks to boot! On the wedding day, we used vintage candles and lush mercury glass arrangements for a timeless yet elegant look. Sarah & Zack, we hope you had the best day ever! xoxox

WHAT WHIM DID: Signature Seasonal Florals

FLOWER CHOICES:  Hydrangea, garden roses, eucalyptus & more.

OUR FAVORITE PART OF THEIR DAY: The moment when Sarah saw the grande staircase that we had loaded with greens, flowers and candles. She burst into tears of joy! We also loved how happy she was whenever she was with Zack.

Barn at Gibbet Hill Wedding: Carrie & Steve

Planning Carrie & Steve’s Barn at Gibbet Hill wedding had us full of (local) love! From the moment we met Carrie & Steve, we knew they were one of the most thoughtful couples we had ever worked with. These two are such kind-hearted folk, always putting others needs before their own. This was not only inspiring, but a true testament to how the couple met each other in AmeriCorps! So, we were not surprised one bit when they mentioned one of their biggest wedding priorities (aside from creating a welcoming environment for guests) was to “shop small” – to support local businesses, artists, farmers and american-grown flowers for their wedding day.  Because of their nature of giving back, we were thrilled to have their wedding featured on Style Me Pretty this year. Enjoy these stunning shots and the amazing vendor team at the end of this post! We love YOU, Carrie & Steve!

What Whim Did: Effortless Event PlanningSignature Seasonal Florals

Flower choices:  Dahlias, ruscus, garden roses & hydrangea

Our favorite part of their day: Carrie sang a song to Steve with her sisters! We had planned their wedding for over a year, and had no idea what an amazing voice she had!!!

New England Backyard Wedding: Rachel & Scott

We love looking at these photos from Rachel & Scott’s New England backyard wedding last September. Not only was this couple hilarious, super cool and ridiculously organized, but Rachel’s family home was a stunning place for these two to tie the knot. We met Rachel and Scott around the time of our Wedding 101 workshop. They had a lovely vision of an intimate family affair at Rachel’s home in Sutton, Massachusetts. They wanted a classic, yet elegant feel and loved the blush color scheme. These two chose our classic floral package, completele with hydrangea, roses and dahlias. And, we were thrilled to coordinate the day as well! Rachel was a dream to work with, her planning binder was always neat and organized! And one for most absolute favorite parts of the day was the ceremony, where Scott fist-pumped the crowd after their first kiss! CLASSIC!!!!  We hope your first year of marriage has been amazing, Rachel & Scott. Our best to you!!! xoxoxoxoxoxox – whim
