We first talked to Michelle on the phone early last year (when Whim was a wee baby!) from her new home in Tennessee. Phone calls are always interesting in the flower business because flowers are so personal…and we always try to meet our clients in person before their big day. ?We liked Michelle instantly over the phone though, learning she was Cambridge native and graphic designer. Michelle and Dan’s big day was planned for early June, at the?Cambridge Multicultural Arts Center...and yay! she was using one of our favorite photographers Amie Fedora! ?We decided on simple calla?lilies and hydrangea?to match her navy color scheme. But the real fun came when Michelle landed in Cambridge two weeks before the big day…and we took her to the flower market! ?We instantly knew this girl had style! ?The vision changed a bit, especially when she mentioned some periwinkle, but we happily kept the budget the same and added some pops of color and texture. Moira even found hydrangea called “You and Me Together”. (Seriously, that was the flower’s name! Can you say adorable?!)
When we walked into her bridal suite on the big day, she gave us a group hug (we love hugsss!). And we were happy.
A huge congrats to Michelle & Dan! A lifetime of hugs to you both!
