Back in December when Boston wedding photographer Katie Noble asked me to be her wedding planner, I was honored. Katie photographed my wedding and it was such a joy to be a part of hers. She and her fiance Steve got married on a beautiful June day in Stowe Vermont, at a private home located directly next to her parents house. The site was stunning, with a perfect view of Stowe Mountain (the couple are big skiers), clean Vermont air, rolling hills and starry skies. We planned the wedding in six months, and with the help of crafty Katie, Steve and the artistic Noble family – we created a stunning day full of love and all things beautiful!

Katie’s mom (an artist herself) created a fantastic branch chandelier and beautiful watercolor invitations, while her dad cut birch branches, landscaped, strung lights and lanterns and created 2 beautiful fabric arbors. Katie’s DIY details were impeccable: from her hand stenciled “love” napkins, to her day of paper, signage and seating chart, I’m pretty sure the entire family should work for Whim 😉 Oh, and what’s more? There was a choreographed flash mob at the wedding, planned by their amazing wedding party!! And a tear jerker speech from the best man. Guests enjoyed a yummy menu of seasonal Vermont cuisine, and then danced late into the evening to the band, only stopping for a nostalgic snack: warm chocolate chip cookies and milk.

Katie and Steve, you two are such a fun and genuinely caring couple and I couldn’t be happier for you both. Katie, you always take such lovely photos of other peoples precious moments, so it was wonderful to see you in the midst of your own. Cheers and congrats!
