New England is known for tradition, but recently couples are letting go of some of the old, stuffy wedding traditions and focusing on one-of-a-kind experiences for guests. It is extremely important to today’s couple to ensure their guests are having a meaningful and memorable time.

Most of our couples ask us to create “instagrammable moments” for their guests, putting unique and unexpected spins on old event traditions or elements. We’ve designed some amazing moments for our couples: a rose bar before the ceremony, a flower crown bar for the guests, pedicab rides around the venue, stunning floral installations, surprise dancers to get the crowds going, and even a parade led by a New Orleans style 2nd line band to bring guests around the block!

Experiences don’t have to be massive. Small touches or surprises make it different. We love surprising guests with a dessert or food truck at the end of the night, or ordering custom glow sticks for a 90s inspired pizza after-party. Still love New England traditions? Make an oyster bar interactive by having oyster shuckers onsite, or oyster “cigar girls” walking around to shuck individual oysters for guests during cocktail hour.

For us, bringing in just one unique experience makes for a really great party.
