Sure, I love letterpress, tons of candlelight and visual or emotional experiences that stop people in their tracks. Yet, it’s not building a stunning tablescape or an Instagram worthy moment that inspires me. It’s the feeling our couples and their loved ones feel when they take their seat at the table. It’s the stories that people share as they come together. The cozy feeling when everyone sits together in a space we’ve built from the ground up, the laughter and tears of joy as they celebrate is what makes me feel alive.
My expertise lies in planning the ins and outs of multi-day events and weekend destination weddings. I also adore planning modern city events or romantic garden weddings at private homes. Understanding who my clients are at their core is what excites me the most, and I love creating unexpected experiences that evoke magic or nostalgia at every event.
As a mother, I’ve learned to have a different level of savoring moments and treasuring memories. I appreciate these milestones more than ever before. These are the moments that are important to me and why I strive to make them so special for our clients.
And as simple as it sounds, I just really love helping people.

I recently discovered a word that seems to be emerging in the ever-changing design scene. “Hygge” is a Danish word used to acknowledge a special feeling or moment. It can be alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary, but is always cozy, charming or special. This word has had a profound effect on me because I finally have a word to perfectly describe what I love to do. I always think about how to make a moment feel genuine, authentic and special, whether it’s having a simple vase of flowers on my desk or creating a large scale event. I love the feeling when time stops, and you are completely in the moment. My favorite part of my job is taking clients to the market and discovering their favorite flowers, then creating a vision that is truly their own and unique to them. It is a privilege to bring their event to life and see them lost in the moment, surrounded by their loved ones.

I take great pleasure in learning others love stories, young and old – how they met, what their families do when they get together, their quirks, the things that they love the most about each other. It is all so important and makes me even more invested in creating the most perfect day for our clients and their families. As a designer, I am a very visual person, so I approach every moment of each event as if it were to be published in a magazine or a storybook. The continuity of color and texture throughout each event should tell a story. My motivation is figuring out how best to portray our clients’ style and story through a visual presentation – by designing layouts, design boards, sourcing detail items, and styling photographs that will become forever heirlooms. My joy is found in their happy tears or ear-to-ear grins at the end of the night.
