We met Colleen at a coffee shop to chat about her big day in May. ?She was a Harvard law student, waiting patiently for her fiance Tristan to return to the states from his home in British Columbia. ?We instantly loved her witty nature and her wedding organization skills. She adored peonies, roses and hydrangea (I mean really, what more could a girl ask for – love and peonies?!) and wanted a soft and romantic feel at the Lenox. We loved her even more when she told us she had always dreamed of having a huge fluffy bouquet. ?She and Moira bonded over Pride & Prejudice and all things romantic.
When we took Colleen to the market, she gravitated towards all things fluffy – pale pinks, whites and soft grey dusty miller. And she loved flowering dogwood branches – which we later found out were the official flower of British Columbia! Coincidence? We think not. 😉 Using this as inspiration, Moira decided on 3 distinct styles of centerpieces to draw guests attention around the room and match the vibe at the Lenox. ?One the wedding day, Moira filled her bouquet with peonies from France. It was going to be a great day.
The wedding day was everything and more. Our favorite moment was when Colleen threw her arms around Tristan as they saw?each other?for the first time.?Our second favorite moment? Colleen brought her?bouquet?on her honeymoon. She just couldn’t bear to leave it behind. ?=)
Colleen &?Tristan..we’re smitten. Congrats!
